What we do — and exactly how it drives growth.
Most agencies hand you a menu of services and leave you to guess what you need. Motion Wave gives you a system: brand and marketing wired into one engine, built in the order that actually compounds — led by one senior marketer, not a layer of account managers.

Three ways to work with us
Same senior thinking. You choose how much of it you need, and how much you want off your desk.
All three run on the Value Accretion Method. The commercial model first, then who's worth winning, then what gets built. Whether I direct it, lead it or deliver one piece of it, the order doesn't change.
The Method01 · Direct
Strategy & advisory
We diagnose what's holding growth back and hand you the plan. Best when you've got a team that just needs senior direction.
Marketing consultancy02 · Lead
Fractional CMO
Senior marketing leadership embedded in your business, strategy and execution, at a fraction of a full-time hire.
Fractional marketing03 · Build
Project
A defined piece of work. A rebrand, a website, an SEO build, scoped, delivered and handed over.
Scope a projectHow it fits together
Four powerful segments. One system.
We split your marketing and business development into four parts — one strategy that directs everything, and three engines that fill the pipeline. Built in the order that compounds, so each one makes the next cheaper.
Strategy
The thinking that governs all of it — and the three engines beneath it.
01
Catch the demand that already exists
Demand Capture
People are already searching for what you do. First we make sure they find you — and convert.
02
Create demand that isn't there yet
Demand Generation
Then we build want in the people who aren't looking yet, so the pipeline keeps filling.
03
Go and win the accounts worth winning
Outreach
And we go directly after the specific clients you'd most like to work with.

Not sure where to start?
Tell us what it feels like — we'll find the problem.
Most owners can't name the problem — they just feel it. Pick the one that's closest and we'll tell you what's likely going on, in plain English.
It feels like…
Likely a visibility & positioning gap
You're better — but you're not being seen
When bigger competitors dominate, it's rarely because they're better. They're just easier to find and quicker to understand. That's a visibility and positioning problem — and it's usually faster to fix than you'd think.
No pitch. We'll tell you straight what's holding you back — even if the answer is "you don't need us yet."

You're attracting volume, not fit
When the wrong work keeps landing, your marketing is pulling in anyone rather than the right ones. Tighten who you speak to and how you frame it, and the good-fit enquiries start rising to the top instead of the time-wasters.
No pitch. We'll tell you straight what's holding you back — even if the answer is "you don't need us yet."

Activity with no line back to results
If you can't tell what's working, you've got activity without a system behind it. We connect what you spend to what comes back — so you stop guessing, cut what doesn't pay, and double down on what does.
No pitch. We'll tell you straight what's holding you back — even if the answer is "you don't need us yet."

It shouldn't be your job to hold all of this
If marketing keeps slipping down the list, you don't need another task — you need someone senior to own it. That's the whole point of a fractional CMO: we take it off your desk entirely, so it stops being the thing you never get to.
No pitch. We'll tell you straight what's holding you back — even if the answer is "you don't need us yet."

How much does it cost to design a brand?
It depends on what you need. A basic brand identity (like a logo, colours, and typefaces) can start from £1,500–£2,000. But if you want strategic positioning, messaging and systems that actually support growth, our full brand execution projects typically start from £5,000 and scale based on scope.
How do I create a brand for my small business?
Once you know that, shape your messaging, visuals and marketing around it. You can build a brand yourself, but working with someone who understands brand strategy saves time, avoids missteps and builds a stronger foundation.
How much is a logo?
We don’t sell logos in isolation. We build brand systems where the logo is just one (important) part. We are happy to help guide the creative process to create a well-positioned logo. But we do not make them in isolation.
Is it worth working with a brand consultant?
A good brand consultant brings structure, clarity and commercial thinking to your business. They help you define your message, refine your offer and show up in the market in a way that earns trust and drives results.
It’s not just about making things pretty, it’s about making things work and looking at business processes that connect with marketing and branding.
